a Lindor Dark Truffles box thanks to David winning a bet with my boss last week
a huge box of chocolates from NJ.com
and... treat of all treats... a gift pack from google.
later i got a big tin of dean & deluca cookies. i love presents from clients and publishers. it's a new thing for me. i especially love the google swag.

Inexpensive Hot Chocolate
I watch for sell-by-today sales on the half-gallons ofchocolate milk. Yesterday, I found some. The regular price was$2.19, but each half-gallon had $1.50 worth of markdownstickers on it. So, mine cost 69 cents per half gallon or$1.38 per gallon. I poured off a cup from each, and then froze the rest in the original containers.
Now, when Winter arrives, I can thaw the chocolate milk, pourit into mugs, and heat in the microwave for hot chocolate.This offers great taste, very little mess, and no fuss.If the kids have a cup in the morning and another cup in theafternoon, a half-gallon will quickly disappear.
